Shooting on Film is where it all began - I started on my Mothers Old Canon at age 11 and never looked back. I love the warm, unpredictable nature of the film. I have spent many hours of my life experimenting with different film stocks, cameras & lenses, scanning techniques and in-camera effects. Learning old techniques and equipment are a never ending source of knowledge and teachings. I shoot on film to keep the craft alive and simply because I love it.

I like to make my services accessible without sacrificing quality - I’ve created some ways to ensure we can work together despite your budget.

I offer sliding scale for clients who reach out and ask - this includes my costs, such as film, travel and development but the final prices can be discussed to fit your needs. I also offer payment plans - this breaks up the payment in smaller pieces making it easier on your budget planning.

I also offer partial or full trades depending on offer - this is great if youre wanting to trade a service or product for some photos. The trade is of equal retail value.

I like to quote clients anywhere from two - six weeks depending on my schedule, travel plans and shoot itself. For bigger events such as wedding can take up to eight weeks to complete. I appreciate your patience of the final project - If you’re needing photos by a certain date we can plan for it.

I am live and create on the unceeded territory of the Wei Wai Kai & Ligwilda'xw people - I am blessed and honoured to grow and learn here. Since I am in a rural location - travel fees will apply when sessions are not located on Quadra Island.

Absolutely - bringing a friend when meeting with a stranger, even a professional, is highly recommended. Friends help us relax and make things fun - bringing along a buddy to your session is highly supported.
